Overview
If you cannot login to your COB laptop try some of these troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting
A. Confirm you are using the right password.
Most common reason staff cannot login to the laptop is due to password issues. Ask your self the following questions.
- Did I change my password recently?
- When is the last time I used my laptop?
- Are you using the same password, as the desktop to login?
B. Laptop has not been on site at City Hall in a long time. Reboot laptop and plug into the wired network.
- The laptop will need to be plugged into the City hall network at least every 180 days, for 5 mins
C. M.I.S has locked out your account.
