Process:
After you submit your request, MIS will:
- Review the request
- Contact you for further information, if necessary
- Examine/diagnose the problem, and troubleshoot until resolution
- Send a closeout notification upon resolution
Before you submit a ticket, you will need to:
- Enter your username and password in the appropriate textboxes on the network log on screen as well as the word "DOMAIN" in the domain textbox and attempt to log on before continuing with this request.
- Determine if the LAN cable is plugged into the wall and the PC
- Check to see if there is a light flashing around the area where the LAN cable is plugged into the back of your computer
- Check to see if your User ID is correct
- Check to see if your computer has access to the internet
- Make note of any error messages
