Overview

Use this form to request assistance in the event that any user(s) experiences issues with any:

  • geospatial-sourced data/data connections
  • GIS applications

Who can submit this request?

  • Any City of Buffalo employee

How we process your request

Typical resolution time:

Basic Issue: 1-2 business days, Moderate or Complex Issue: 1 week 

Process:

After you submit your request, MIS will:

  • Review the request
  • Contact you for further information, if necessary
  • Examine/diagnose the problem
  • Determine if the request is an issue deriving from the user-side or server-side
  • Determine if there is an additional source system (HANSEN, LAGAN, Etc.) using the GIS components
  • Troubleshoot until resolution

Before you submit a ticket, you will need to:

  • Make note of location/URL of affected application
  • Make not of any error messages
  • Describe the issue in detail to ensure quick resolution
