Overview
Use this form to report a Virtual Private Network (VPN) issue. VPN allows you to connect to the City of Buffalo network from home. This gives you the ability to access resources that are normally restricted to those using the on-premises network, such as enterprise software programs and file storage. If you are unable to connect to the VPN service, please report it to the MIS Support and Help Desk and a technician will resolve the issue.

- Any City of Buffalo employee
How we process your request
Typical resolution time:
1-2 business days
Process:
After you submit your request, MIS will:
- Review the request
- Contact you for further information, if necessary
- Troubleshoot the issue until resolution
- Send a closeout notification upon resolution
Before you submit a ticket, you will need to:
- Provide an appropriate callback number for follow-up (home or cell phone if requesting from home)
